US Signal has been a valued partner of ours for the last several years. Their robust network and distributed data centers have been assets to our customers, providing quality bandwidth and carrier quality data center facilities across the midwest. It’s encouraging to us, and our client base, to see that they are increasing their data center footprint in key locations.
A network provider is expanding a pair of its data centers to meet demand for data protection and disaster recovery services.
US Signal in Grand Rapids said that this spring it is expanding its data centers in Oak Brook, Ill. and Indianapolis.
The centers are a total of 5,600 square feet and will expand a total of 12,000 square feet to accommodate customer need, said Kim Bode, a spokesperson for US Signal.
The Oak Brook data center will add 8,000 square feet, and the Indianapolis data center will add 4,000 square feet, with facilities now equipped with more power, HVAC, monitoring and network infrastructure.
The company operates eight data centers in the Midwest.
